Inspired by a message Kim heard in a Joyce Meyer sermon, Pitiful or Powerful is about one of the hardest choices we face: what we do with the things that hurt us.

We can’t always choose what happens to us. We can’t rewrite yesterday. But we can decide whether our pain becomes a prison—or something that helps another person find their way out.

This song is about choosing gratitude over bitterness, purpose over victimhood, and trusting that God can use even the broken pieces of our lives for something good.

Sometimes being powerful doesn’t mean you were never broken. It means you decided the breaking wouldn’t be the end of your story.
