Some songs come straight from the heart, and Testimony is one of them.

This song was inspired by a heartfelt conversation with my dear friend Heather, a girlfriend I’ve known since high school. We found ourselves talking about life, all the hell we’ve been through, the people we’ve lost, the heartbreak we’ve survived, and the battles nobody else ever knew we were fighting.

And somewhere in that conversation, Heather and I realized something beautiful. After everything life has thrown at us, we’ve both finally found peace.

Not because life turned out perfectly. Not because we haven’t been hurt. But because we’ve learned to let go of what we can’t change, appreciate what we have, and recognize just how far we’ve come.

Testimony is about surviving the storms, holding on to faith, finding strength you never knew you had, and realizing that your past doesn’t get to define your future.

It’s about two lifelong girlfriends looking back at everything they’ve endured and being grateful that, somehow, they made it to the other side.

Our stories aren’t over. And the best may still be yet to come.
