Written for my son, daughter, stepson, and stepdaughter, “I’m Still Here” is an apology for the hurt I couldn’t prevent and the moments I wish I’d handled differently. We may remember those years in different ways, and I want to hear their truth.

More than anything, this song tells them how proud I am of the kind, loving people they’ve become. I can’t change the past, but I can listen, keep showing up, and remind them that whenever they need me, I’m still here.
