“You Get What You Give” is a country duet about two people who have both made mistakes, taken a few wrong turns, and learned plenty along the way.

He remembers his mama teaching him that choices have consequences—you get what you get, and you get what you give.

She learned some lessons the hard way, too—giving her heart where it didn’t belong, learning when to walk away, and realizing that every wrong road can still teach you something right.

Then their paths crossed.

Neither one is trying to save the other. Neither needs to know exactly where the story ends. They’re simply two people with a little history behind them who genuinely enjoy what they’ve found together.

At its heart, “You Get What You Give" is about giving back to life what you hope to receive—a little love, laughter, honesty, and truth.

Maybe all those roads behind us teach us how we want to live when something good finally shows up.
