Sometimes I still can’t believe people I’ve never met reach out and tell me that one of my songs helped them through a hard night, a heartbreak, addiction, loss, or a season they weren’t sure they’d make it through.

That will never feel ordinary to me.

“Just a Girl” came from that feeling.

I never set out to be somebody. I never thought I had all the answers. I simply started telling the truth about my life—the things I survived, the mistakes I made, the people I loved, the pieces of myself I lost, and the healing that came afterward.

And somehow, those stories started finding people who needed them.

This song is my way of saying thank you.

I’m still figuring life out just like everybody else. I’m still amazed every time someone tells me they heard themselves in one of my songs.

I’m just a girl with a pen and a past, telling my story.

And somehow… you heard me. 🤍
