Sometimes leaving isn’t the hardest part.

“Better Than Before” is about what happens after the chaos settles—when the kids are grown, the marriage is over, you know you made the right decision, but suddenly nobody needs you the way they once did.

You can love your freedom and still feel lost.

You can know you don’t want your old life back and still have no idea what the new one is supposed to look like.

And sometimes all you can do is trust God, keep moving and remind yourself:
