“Almost Know” is a dark country-Americana duet by Kim Cross and Mark DenHartigh about two people who keep making room for each other without knowing where they stand. Kim sings from the side of the person who’s tired of keeping her Sundays open. Mark answers as the one who liked knowing she’d be there and never stopped to ask what she was turning down.

A steady kick, warm bass, and sparse electric guitar leave room for both sides of the story. By the time he takes his jacket from the door, she already has somewhere to go.
