Blue Glass Flower (Single Song)

“Blue Glass Flower” by Kim Cross is a hypnotic desert indie country song about grieving the years you gave away—and choosing to make the years ahead your own.

Taking down an old photograph reveals more than an outline on the wall. It brings back postponed dreams, unspoken needs, and compassion for the younger woman who did the best she could. In its place hangs a little blue glass flower: something pretty, something hers.

With a pulsing heartbeat groove and intimate, smoky vocals, this song follows regret toward quiet resolve. She doesn’t want him back. She’s ready to keep the promises she made to herself.
