No Rest for the Wicked

Kim Cross & Mark DenHartigh Music

Written by Mark DenHartigh and Kim Cross

🔥 Two businesses. Two busy lives. One unstoppable passion for music.

No Rest for the Wicked is a high-energy, feel-good country duet inspired by our real lives and the crazy, beautiful journey of chasing a dream while running two businesses.

By day, I’m traveling the backroads, working with landowners and chasing wind energy projects across the countryside. Mark is building houses, running his construction company, and juggling everything that comes with owning a business.

And when most people are calling it a day? We’re just getting started! 🎶

With a few hours of highway between us, we spend our evenings writing songs, exchanging ideas, and turning life’s experiences into music that we hope makes somebody laugh, feel understood, or realize they’re not alone.

Some days we’re running on caffeine, determination, and very little sleep. But every message from someone who connects with one of our songs reminds us why we keep going.

We’re not wicked. We’re just driven.

And maybe someday, music will be all we do. Until then, we’ve got businesses to run, miles to travel, houses to build, and a whole lot more songs to write!

❤️ No rest for the wicked… and we ain’t slowing down!
